Lee is joined by British actor Lily Knight to discuss her role as Joy in Saint Maud, written and directed by debut filmmaker Rose Glass.
Maud, a newly devout hospice nurse, becomes obsessed with saving her dying patient’s soul — but sinister forces, and her own sinful past, threaten to put an end to her holy calling. Lily plays Joy, a health care worker who shares a past with Maud and who reaches out to her. Lily takes us through the audition process in which she also went for the role of Maud, what went into making this film such a success, developing the role of Joy and her experiences on the set, and much more.
