@Jenna - Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2026

Unlike The Office US spin-off itself, which had worn out its welcome well before its ninth and final season, Winnie Stack's decade long series of stories is a hit from start to finish. In @Jenna, Stack explores how the fictional character, Pam Beesley played by Jenna Fisher, from the sitcom becomes part of her own story, tracing how her childhood obsession with Pam became a roadmap to understanding her sexuality and her eventual queer awakening.

Using her childhood diaries, incredible home videos and a brilliantly constructed multimedia performance, Stack takes us from elementary school through middle school, high school and college, charting the journey from innocent fascination to confusion, shame and, ultimately, self-acceptance. 

The most powerful and comical moments come from Stack reading her own unedited childhood journals, capturing a time when attraction was exciting, imaginative and completely free from any judgement before the pressures of society introduce doubt and the idea that some feelings should be hidden and ignored. 

Stack is an fantastic performer, bringing to life a whole cast of characters from teachers and friends to the voices of her own internal debate, balancing humour with moments of real vulnerability. The use of personal footage, diary entries and digital archives feels particularly fitting for a Gen Z story, where childhood memories have often been captured, saved and stored forever. Rather than simply revisiting the past, Stack transforms those fragments into a powerful and fun story about identity, belonging and the unexpected shows that inform who we are.
